I have exciting news!
The new office that I share with my friend Ms Melinda is now functionally complete!
Isn’t it pretty?!?
There are still a few things that need to be done. Art still needs to be hung on the walls and we are in the middle of a spirited argument over whether or not we need a printer that I will eventually win. (Ms Melinda is absurdly anti-paper for someone who writes books for a living *insert exasperated eyeroll here*.)
The point is we are no longer living like hobo writers going from coffeeshop to coffeeshop carrying our laptops with us and keeping the cold dregs of our chai lattes in Dine-In porcelain mugs so we didn’t look like the office-less waifs we were.
…what do you mean that sounds like a gross over-exaggeration?
Are you suggesting that I, who write fiction for a living, might occasionally stretch the truth for the sake of a good story?
*tries to hide sheepish grin* I would never!
XoXo,

p.s. The War of the Dresser is still ongoing. To the left, is the shot I shared with you last week. To the right, is a shot I took this morning approximately a million applications of polyurethane and the eighteen working hours it took to apply them later.

Are the shots visibly different? Not really. Time well spent clearly. *bares teeth in vicious smile and glares at the offending dresser – You will not break me!*
