Okay, so it’s been a minute since I made a blog post. Or more accurately, it’s been a couple of months. I’ve been gearing up to launch the first three books in my new romance series and it just kind of… ate my life.
I felt seriously burned out towards the end of March. But luckily my writing buddy had to go on holiday to see her parents, so I took a little over a week off. It was glorious. I cooked and tidied and streamed TV and made a point of not to get out my pajamas until midday. They may seem like little dreams, but we’re still in a pandemic so my scope was limited.
Now I’m back on track. The Not-So-Ugly Stepsister Gets Her Guy and The Ice Prince are fully prepped and ready to be launched. I even got the audiobook of The Not-So-Ugly Stepsister back from the studio this week. Cue the excited squealing! It’s my first, ever audiobook and the amazing folks over at One Night Stand Studio have done a fantastic job.
The Wild Prince is finished, aside from the special engagement epilogue, and ready to be shoved through into editing. The moment I get that off, I get to go back to writing and start The Quiet Prince. After my little break, I’m looking forward to getting back into writing.
